PATRICK

Founder & Director

Patrick is the Founder and Managing Director of Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd, and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with over a decade of experience in the construction industry.

​

He holds a first-class degree in Building Surveying from Leeds Beckett University, along with a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety, and Fire Safety and Risk Management.

 

Patrick's technical knowledge is matched by a practical foundation, having first developed a passion for buildings while working alongside an experienced local builder during his college years.

​

After spending eight years at an international construction consultancy, Patrick made the decision to focus on residential surveying, driven by a keen interest in building pathology and a desire to offer truly independent, client-focused advice. Today, he leads the team at Honeywell with a commitment to quality, professionalism, and personal service.

CLAUDIA

Office Executive

With a strong background in customer-facing roles, Claudia is committed to delivering exceptional service and supporting clients throughout their journey with Honeywell Survey and Design Ltd.

​

Growing up in the Yorkshire countryside in a former coal mining cottage, Claudia developed a passion for property from an early age, inspired by watching her father carry out home and landscaping repairs.

 

Since joining the team, she has deepened her understanding of the surveying profession and the crucial role it plays in protecting and enhancing the built environment.

​

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys exploring the countryside with her dog, often capturing the scenery through her photography. She also loves putting the finishing touches on her home and planning her next travel adventure.

LUKE

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

Luke is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer. 

Based in Nottinghamshire, Luke undertakes Level 2 Home Buyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, Snagging Inspections and Private Valuations across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.


Luke has over sixyears experience in the residential property industry. Prior to training as a Residential Surveyor, Luke has previously worked as an estate agent in lettings and property management. This is where he realised his passion for property and building pathology. 

Luke has enjoyed time overseas, and has lived in France, Spain and Germany. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, going to the gym, cooking and spending time with his family.

WILL

Assistant Placement Surveyor

Will is a student studying Building Surveying at Leeds Beckett University and is now carrying out a placement year with us. Will's focus day to day is helping to review the surveyors reports, working to maintain our high standards.

 

During his time at University, Will has learnt many different aspects of surveying, including the construction processes for different types of properties and how they are maintained. He is now excited to get himself involved in real life surveys, projects and gain industry experience.

 

Based in Derbyshire, his interest in surveying started after seeing his parents perform maintenance and repairs on their 17th century cottage.

 

In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym and training Brazilian Jui Jitsu.

RICHARD

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

Richard is an Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS), and Registered Valuer. Based in North Yorkshire, Richard undertakes Level 2 Home Buyers reports, Level 3 Building surveys and Snagging inspections across North Yorkshire.​

​

Richard has over 40 years of experience in construction and facilities management industries and has carried out an number of his own development and renovation projects, where he has become skilled in numerous trades. He is a qualified BDMA Technician and is proficient in the recovery of buildings following fire and flood events.​

​

Richards constant companion is Skyla, a 2 year old border collie whom Richard is teaching dog agility. They both love escaping to the hills for a long ramble which often culminates in a rewarding pint sat next to a cosy fire.

Matthew

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

Matthew is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer.

Based in Barnsley and having grown up in the nearby village of Higham, Matthew carries out Level 2 Home Buyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, Snagging Inspections and Private Valuations across South and West Yorkshire.

Matthew has over eight years of experience in the residential property industry. He previously worked at a panel management firm, where he assessed new build developments for lenders and carried out desktop valuations nationwide. It was during this time that he completed his AssocRICS qualification and developed a strong interest in the built environment and residential surveying.

 

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, going camping, and riding bikes. He’s also been known to stop off at his local cricket club for a quick pint and to catch a few overs.

Ellie

Assistant Placement Surveyor

Ellie is a Building Surveying student at Sheffield Hallam University, currently completing her placement year with our team. Day to day, Ellie supports the review and preparation of surveyor reports alongside supporting the office executive - helping to maintain the high standards we set for our work.

​

Through her studies, she has gained knowledge across a range of surveying topics, including construction techniques, building pathology, and material science. Ellie is now excited to apply these skills in real-world projects and continue building her industry experience.

​

Growing up in Lincoln, she developed an early interest in surveying after helping her grandparents renovate and rent out houses. Outside of work, she enjoys countryside walks, horse riding, and spending time with friends.

David

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

David is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer.

 

He provides Level 2 Home Buyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, Snagging Inspections, and Private Valuations throughout South and West Yorkshire.

 

David has worked in property since leaving school and has spent much of his career as an Estate Agency Valuer, helping clients in Barnsley and the surrounding area sell their homes. Over the years, he’s also gained experience in refurbishment projects, new build developments, and specialist lettings management.

 

Since completing his AssocRICS qualification in 2020, David has worked as a residential surveyor with a nationwide panel management firm, carrying out Level 2 pre-purchase reports and a wide range of valuations. He joined Honeywell Survey And Design in 2025 with an aim to provide clients with high quality, in-depth reports which will inform their purchase decision.

 

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, playing tabletop games, and going for a run whenever he can.
