PATRICK
Director & Chartered Surveyor
Hi, I’m Patrick - the founder and owner of Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd. I am a chartered member of the RICS, with over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. I have a first-class degree in Building Surveying from Leeds Beckett University, a NEBOSH certificate in health and safety, and fire safety and risk management, and MRICS status with the RICS.
I have had a passion for buildings and construction, ever since I worked for an experienced builder in college. Since then, I have been passionate about learning and developing myself in the commercial and residential building surveying world. My main experience is in building pathology and inspection, design and specification and fire safety.
After working for 8 years in an international construction consultancy, I decided to transition into residential surveying where I could explore my passion for building pathology, and provide good advice to people who need it. I decided to form Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd in 2021. My goal is to provide the best independent advice to clients in my own way.
I have grown up and live in Barnsley with my wife, daughter and dog. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, golf, Formula 1 and all Yorkshire has to offer. I would love to have an informal chat with you, with no obligation to see how I can help.
MELANIE
Senior Residential Surveyor and Valuer
Melanie is a Chartered Surveyor with MRICS status with the RICS, and is a Registered Valuer.
Melanie has 30 years post qualification experience, working as a residential surveyor and RICS registered valuer since 2013.
Based in Derbyshire, her residential experience has included producing RICS L2 Homebuyers, L3 Building Surveys and RICS Redbook valuations across Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire.
Prior to moving into the residential sector over 20 years ago, Melanie operated as a commercial Building Surveyor, which included; project management, design and specification, statutory applications, dilapidations and schedules of condition. Experience has also included working as a Building Control officer.
In her spare time, Melanie likes music, playing the piano, walking and travelling in her spare time.
ALEKSANDRA
Office Manager
Aleksandra has been in the building industry for over 6 years working as a Customer Relations Manager.
Here at Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd, she provides all back office support to the surveyors, and makes sure the office runs smoothly.
Aleksandra is passionate about all things building, and is well placed and able to advise on all the services we are offering.
In her free time, Aleksandra enjoys reading, music, art, outdoor activities and spending time with her animals.
LUKE
Residential Surveyor
Luke is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a Registered Valuer.
Based in Nottinghamshire, Luke has undertaken L2 Home Buyer Reports, L3 Building Surveys and Private Valuations across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.
Luke has over five years experience in the residential property industry. Prior to training as a Residential Surveyor, Luke has previously worked as an estate agent in lettings and property management. This is where he realised his passion for property and building pathology.
Luke has enjoyed time overseas, and has lived in France, Spain and Germany. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, going to the gym, cooking and spending time with his family.
LUKE

BRANDON
Residential Surveyor and Valuer
Brandon is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Registered Valuer, He qualified through the Sava Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation.
Based in the North West, his residential experience has included producing RICS L2 Homebuyers, RICS Level 3 Building Surveys and RICS Red Book valuations.
Both Brandons parents are surveyors. Working with them previously is where he found his passion for surveying. He likes that each day as a surveyor is different and loves to be out expanding his experience and knowledge with each survey.
Before training as a residential surveyor and valuer Brandon has experience as an engineer. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, going to the gym and spending time with his family.
