We use on-site data capture software, using an iPad for data collection, and report write-up. This method ensures consistency and simplicity for the employee. We ensure all equipment used is of the highest quality. All required equipment will be provided.

The Position:

The residential surveyor will be AssocRICS or MRICS as a minimum, or close to qualification.VRS is desired but not essential. The role will include undertaking the following regular instructions: Snagging Inspections, Level 2 Homebuyers and Level 3 Building surveys on a wide range of property types.

Depending on experience, the surveyor may also have opportunity to undertake a host of different work types, for example, Party Wall Services, Dilapidations, Schedules of Conditions, Stock Condition Surveying, Measured Surveys, Project Design and more as the business develops its client portfolio. Other experience will be valued and nurtured into the future of the business.

We are looking for enthusiastic surveyors, with good experience to be part of our team. You will be joining a small, but aspiring and growing team with a great reputation. You will play a key part and contribute to the growth of the business, and as such your prospects within the team will grow alongside the development of the business.

This will primarily be a home-based role, with an office local to Barnsley available when desired and required. You will attend the office on the last working day of each month where possible to; work alongside other team members, develop team working, be briefed on a general business update, and to attend a paid-for employee lunch.

The Location:

Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd it based in Barnsley, which is central to South Yorkshire. The office is located a short walk from the interchange, and a short drive from the M1. Positions for surveyors will be based in their individual region, and we are recruiting for surveyors to cover, Yorkshire, Northwest, Northeast and the East Midlands. You may occasionally be asked to venture further afield to cover absence / leave etc.

Executive Sales Assistant

The Position:

 

As a Sales Assistant in the residential surveying industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team to drive revenue growth and foster positive client relationships. You will assist in generating leads, managing inquiries, and facilitating the sales process from initial contact to contract closure. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

We are looking to employ a part time Sales Assistant at 20 hours per week over five days initially, with likelihood for hours to increase to full time with the growth of the business over the next 12 months. Working hours will be 15:00 – 19:00  Tuesday – Saturday, with room for flexibility through the week. The role will be primarily home based, with fixed days for office attendance. You will be based in our Barnsley town centre office. You will be supporting our team of surveyors, helping to ensure their diaries remain full.

 

The role will briefly include:

 

  • Actively engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their surveying needs and promote our services.

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

  • Manage incoming inquiries, provide accurate information about our services, and guide clients through the sales process.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to the specific requirements of each client.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions using our CRM system.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of surveying services and address any client concerns or inquiries.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

 

The Candidate:

 

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanour.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of the residential property market and surveying industry is desirable but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Quality and Sales Assistant

You will review and proofread surveyor reports, and assist in generating leads, managing inquiries, and facilitate the sales process from initial contact to contract closure. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for quality, customer services, sales, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

The position will be 25 hours per week over six days initially, with potential (should you desire) for hours to increase to full time with the growth of the business over the next 12 months. Working hours will be flexible, provided four hours Monday to Friday, and five hours on Saturday are completed.

 

The role will be primarily home based, with office attendance 1-2 days per week. You will be based in our Barnsley town centre office.

 

The role will briefly include:

 

  • Reviewing reports, and providing detailed feedback to each surveyor using our in house reporting software. Attention to detail is crucial.
