Founder & Managing Director

Patrick Harley-Blake MRICS

Patrick is the Founder and Managing Director of Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). With over a decade of experience in the construction industry and a first-class degree in Building Surveying from Leeds Beckett University, he specialises in residential surveying and building pathology. Patrick established Honeywell to provide clear, professional advice and a high-quality, client-focused surveying service.

Office Executive

Claudia Stockton BA(hons)

Claudia supports clients throughout their journey with Honeywell Survey & Design Ltd, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience from enquiry to report delivery. Growing up in a traditional Yorkshire mining cottage sparked her interest in property, and she has developed a strong understanding of the surveying profession since joining the team. Outside work she enjoys countryside walks, photography, home projects, and travelling.

Ellie Roberts

Ellie is developing her career in surveying while building practical industry experience with the team. Through her studies she has gained knowledge in construction techniques, building pathology, and material science, and she is keen to apply this learning to real surveying work. Her interest in property began while helping her grandparents renovate houses in Lincoln.

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

Luke Lloyd AssocRICS VRS

Luke is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer who undertakes Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, snagging inspections, and private valuations. He has over six years’ experience in the residential property sector, beginning his career in estate agency before moving into surveying and developing a strong interest in building pathology.

Richard Spence AssocRICS VRS

Richard is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer based in North Yorkshire. With more than 40 years’ experience in construction and facilities management, he undertakes Level 2 and Level 3 surveys and snagging inspections. He also holds BDMA technician accreditation and has extensive experience in property refurbishment and building recovery following fire or flood damage.

Residential Surveyor and Valuer

Matthew Darlow AssocRICS VRS

Matthew is an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS) and a Registered Valuer who undertakes Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, snagging inspections, and valuations across South and West Yorkshire. With over eight years’ experience in the residential property sector, he previously worked at a national panel firm assessing new-build developments and carrying out desktop valuations before specialising in residential surveying.

Assistant Building Surveyor

Will Holmes

Will is studying Building Surveying at Leeds Beckett University and is completing a placement year with Honeywell. His role involves supporting the team by reviewing reports and helping maintain the company’s high reporting standards while gaining practical industry experience. His interest in surveying developed after seeing maintenance and repair work carried out on his family’s historic cottage.

Andy Cobb AssocRICS VRS

Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including running his own successful company delivering domestic builds, refurbishments, and heritage works to listed buildings. In 2026 he qualified as a surveyor, combining extensive practical construction knowledge with formal surveying expertise to provide clear, practical advice to clients. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys motorsport and spending time with his family.

Trainee Residential Surveyor & Valuer

Cecilia Cheong

​Cecilia holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Sheffield, is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and is currently studying for the SAVA Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation. She has experience in residential surveying, building pathology, and EPC reporting. Cecilia developed her interest in surveying through a long-standing passion for buildings and construction, particularly through researching and renovating her own home. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, cooking, countryside walks, and spending time with family.
